Millbrook Early Education Centre Artwork Contest
The Millbrook Early Education Centre is holding an Artwork Contest - Help Create our new signage artwork!
From November 1 – November 30, 2026, Millbrook First Nation is inviting Millbrook First Nation Community Members to submit original artwork for new signage at the Millbrook Early Education Centre.
We want to see artwork that celebrates our children, Mi’kmaq culture, community, land, family, learning, and the spirit of Millbrook!
Who can enter?
The contest is open exclusively to members of the Millbrook First Nation community.
Artists of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate.
How to Enter:
Please submit:
Your original artwork or artwork concept.
Your name and contact information.
A brief description explaining the inspiration and meaning behind your artwork.
Confirmation that you are a member of the Millbrook First Nation community.
Confirmation that the artwork is your original creation and was not created using AI or AI-assisted tools.
Artwork may be submitted as a drawing, painting, illustration, digital artwork created by the artist, or another visual format suitable for reproduction.

How will the winner be chosen:
1. Community Review
Top 10 eligible submissions will be shared with the Millbrook First Nation community for community input.
2. Top Three Selected
The top three artwork submissions will be selected from the eligible entries.
3. Final Vote
The top three submissions will be presented to the Millbrook First Nation Seniors Group, who will conduct the final vote to select the winning artwork.
4. Winning Artwork
The winning artwork will be selected for use as signage for the Millbrook First Nation Early Education Centre, subject to final review and any necessary adjustments to meet communications, branding, technical, and signage requirements.
